Introduction:
The duration of the Shastri course
is three academic years. The selection of the candidates is made through internal entrance test which is conducted by
the Admission Committee of the campus. Admissions are done every year in the months
of June and July. The Semester Examination System has been introduced since the
academic year 2010-11 in this course.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission:
Pass in Prak Shastri or Uttar Madhayama or any other equivalent examination
with Sanskrit recognized by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan.
Minimum age
of the candidate is 17 years.
